Description: Position description: The Computational Radiology Laboratory (CRL) at Boston Childrens Hospital invites applications for post-doctoral research fellowships to develop techniques for the analysis of brain development in projects funded by the National Institutes of Health.
The researchers will develop highly innovative high-impact imaging and image processing techniques and software tools in C++ and python to analyze images for better image understanding, correct for motion and distortion in 4D images, and reconstruct high-resolution images of the developing brain using in-vivo MRI and diffusion-weighted MRI.

PhD in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, or a related field with a research focus on machine learning, medical image computing, and computer vision.
Demonstrated record of high-performance scientific programming with C++
Demonstrated record of high-quality publications in the field
Demonstrated analytical, verbal, and scientific writing skills
Highly desired qualifications:
Experience in machine learning, computer vision, and pattern recognition
Experience in neuroimaging, diffusion weighted imaging, and functional MRI
Experience in biomedical image registration, restoration, and segmentation
Experience in parallel computing and GPU CUDA programming
Experience in motion and distortion correction in MRI
