Description: My client is currently looking for computer vision and machine learning research scientists to join their team of Berkeley, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, NYU, Washington, Cambridge, Google, Ebay alumnus in the Bay Area. Here you will build a computer vision framework to help drive their core business.
My client is building a deep-learning based computer vision platform to solve real problems directly on compute-constrained embedded devices. They are working with some of the largest, high-value, publically traded consumer electronics and chip companies, are profitable and backed by top VCs. They have solved a huge and very difficult maths problem that many companies have failed to do and are working at the cutting-edge of computer vision, making research-level breakthroughs.
The successful candidate will come from a highly mathematical background, in addition to mastery of computer vision (optimization/localization/object detection/tracking/segmentation), or 3D computer vision (geometry/SLAM/3D reconstruction) or computational mathematics. You have advanced programming skills and count Python and or C++ as your expert language(s). You also have extensive experience with deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow/Keras/Caffe etc.).
