Description: Postdoc positions as well as PG (as PhD or Master student) researcher positions are available within the newly funded industry project Ambience with a total funding of over RM1million for 2 years.
The main focus is on the processing and analysis of videos/images/audio,
for the research problems of invisible motions, hidden emotions, subtle body language, and facial synthesis.

The project team is open to candidates from various backgrounds as long as there is experience in analysis/processing/optimization/mathematics based research.
Malaysia is a tropical climate country so is essentially a summer-all-year place except for some rain now and then. It is linked by land to Singapore and Thailand. The university MMU is in the heart of Malaysia's cyber city less than half an hour's drive from the international airport.
