We invite applications for 3.5-year PhD positions in computer vision, computer graphics, and machine learning at the University of Bath.
The prospective PhD student will work with Prof. Peter Hall on designing new machine learning algorithms to face challenges in computer vision and graphics applications.
The successful candidates will join the Visual Computing Group at University of Bath’s Computer Science Department, a vibrant research team with six academics and a group of PhD students and post-doctoral researchers.

Anticipated start date: 2 October 2017.
Applicants should have a first class or good second class honours degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or closely related field. Applicants need to have a strong background in mathematics and high proficiency in programming.
