Description: I am working in partnership with a revolutionary defence and security Computer Vision and Deep Learning start-up, which requires a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer to assist them in developing 2D and 3D object recognition algorithms, and to pioneer new R&D approaches to enhance their intelligent threat detection system. My client is working in partnerships with some of the most prestigious US Colleges, including MIT, Stanford and Harvard, to modernize and significantly increase the accuracy of security screening. In an age of increased security threats, this opportunity provides an opportunity to make a tangible impact towards making the world a safer place. Working directly alongside the CTO, you will be afforded an exceptional opportunity to develop your expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Computer Vision, with the opportunity to progress into a more senior role and influence products and strategy as the company grows. This firm has just closed its seeding round, achieving a significant investment in the $millions. The hire for this role will have an exceptional knowledge of Deep Learning and Computer Vision architectures, frameworks and libraries. Extensive and hands on background experience developing Machine Learning and Computer Vision algorithms will have been acquired, with a stellar publication record or project list to demonstrate this. You will have a significant background in mathematics; excel at software engineering and writing robust and maintainable code in either Python or C++. Although not a prerequisite, experience in the realms of image processing, classification, segmentation, reconstruction, manipulation and 2D/3D graphics would be highly advantageous.
