Description: We are seeking outstanding and enthusiastic postdoctoral researchers, with background in machine learning and computer vision, to work on developing state-of-the-art techniques on computer vision, graphics and image processing technologies for a broad range of practical applications. The ideal candidates are expected to be active in conducting cutting edge research, and also enthusiastic about turning research into high-end publications on top-tier conferences and highly recognized journals like Siggraph, Eurographics, SMI, SPM, SGP, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NIPS, MICCAI, PAMI, IJCV and so on. We also encourage candidates to innovate the original ideas to establish leadership in the research community and pursue research collaborative relationships with top universities world widely. The postdoc training will prepare yourself ready to conduct independent research in your future careers. MMVC Lab is a young research group currently located in Center for Science and Engineering, NYU Abu Dhabi. We are actively seeking talents to enhance the research in our group.
•The required skills or experiences for an ideal candidate are: 1) PhD in Computer Science, or Electrical Computer Engineering or closed related majors. 2) Publications in top quality journals or conferences relate machine learning or computer vision conferences & journals 3) Solid knowledge in math, optimization, and statistical inference 4) Strong Programming skills in C/C++, Matlab or equivalent programming language.
•The candidates with following skills will be a good plus: 1) Big/large-scale data in compute vision application 2) Deep learning in image pattern recognition, 3) 3D Deformable shape analysis for example shape registration, shape segmentation and shape retrieval.
