Opportunity Deep Vision data scientist/machine learning engineer is responsible for developing an embedded deep learning framework optimized for applications deployable at the edge. You will work with advanced deep learning applications in computer vision, multimodal learning, speech recognition and audio signal processing with an emphasis on developing a general framework to facilitate embedded learning and inference. For these applications you will be responsible for researching and inventing networks that place a much higher emphasis on lower compute intensity, smaller weight size, network pruning while maintaining high accuracy.
-Develop an embedded deep learning framework optimized for applications deployable at the edge
-Research and invent networks that facilitate embedded learning and inference for applications such as computer vision, multimodal learning, speech recognition and audio signal processing
-Research and invent networks that place a much higher emphasis on lower computer intensity, smaller weight size while maintaining high accuracy
-Collaborate with hardware architects to facilitate creation of novel embedded architectures for future deep learning workloads
-Strong verbal / written and leadership skills. Needs to be successful in leading a team
-Flexible and team oriented, 'can do' attitude
-Outstanding C++, Python programmers
-High level of experience with deep learning/machine learning
-Exposure to parallel programming
-Familiarity with image processing APIs such as OpenCV and MATLAB
-Advanced degree in Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, or Mathematics with appropriate research and/or industry experience. PhD is preferred
-Publications in reputable conferences is a big plus
