Title: Team Lead Deep Learning Research Engineer – Solving Real-World Problems Posted: March 9, 2017
Company/Institution: Start-Up
Location: London

Description: I am pleased to be representing an extremely commercially viable and astute start-up. This firm were founded by a data expert from Google and a machine learning/AI specialist last year. They already have several clients signed on 6-figure contracts and a number of prospering pilot schemes in place. My client has developed state-of-the-art Computer Vision / Deep Learning algorithms that are able to locate, monitor and map things hidden from the untrained eye. The multi-billion addressable market in which they operate lacks automation which means the industry standard is slow, costly, cumbrous and heavily outdated. As a result, my client is receiving overtures from many companies/agencies who are seeking their golden solutions. My client isn’t building another novel research group or AI/DS consultancy, they are solving real-world problems and at the same time, creating their own market. As it stands, they have no direct competitors so the sky really is the limit for this firm. The tech that they have already developed achieves exciting levels of accuracy and is highly scalable. My client is looking for a Deep Learning (CNNs/RNNs) expert (doesn’t have to be from Computer Vision) to join the team (3-4 AI staff at the moment) with an opportunity to fast-track to Team Lead. This person will ideally be familiar with Python/TensorFlow and have an appetite to drive forward their projects and implement their own ideas from day 1. In addition to the revenues that they are generating, they are very well backed by several VCs so are secure for the foreseeable future. They are able to pay proper salaries in order to fairly compensate suitable expertise.
